Dr M. Shafiq-Ur Rahman is a Visiting Researcher in the Institute for Transport Studies (ITS), University of Leeds. He is a Professor and Chair in the Department of Urban & Regional Planning at Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. Dr Shafiq has professional experience of teaching, research and consultancy in the field of urban planning and transport planning for a period of 18 years. His visit is hosted by Dr Paul Timms and Dr Greg Marsden. He is conducting research on multi-modal public transport integration and building a network with UK researchers towards future collaboration of research activities.
