Open Days

Our most recent Open Day for prospective MSc students took place on 28 April 2017 - please see the presentation below:

Those attending the Open Day heard about:

  • The enhanced career prospects a Masters in transport can bring.
  • Funding and how to apply for scholarships of up to £10,000 tax free or a tuition fee waiver worth up to £8500.
  • The focus of the different Masters and Postgraduate Diploma courses - in sustainability, planning, economics, engineering and the environment.
  • The teaching and learning styles of the programmes, including field trips. 
  • Facilities across the University of Leeds campus.
  • Opportunities to talk to current students about their experience of studying at ITS.

In addition to the traditional Open Day held annually around Easter time,  we also offer an Virtual Open Day.  This is delivered in webinar format and is particularly suited to those unable to come to Leeds in person for the traditional Open Day - such as international students.  

In addition to the Open Days held on campus, we run a number of webinars each year. These on-line events are intended for those who have applied or are thinking of applying for an ITS Masters degree.

Webinars are ideal for those not based within easy travelling distance of Leeds, especially international applicants. They are used to convey more detailed information about the Masters programmes and provide the opportunity to ask specific questions to staff members.
