 Key Research Interests

  • Human factors of highly automated driving
  • Human Machine Interface Design for autonomous vehicles - particularlly investigating how it may mitigate automation-induced complacency and enhance vigil capabilities
  • Driver`s Behavioral Adaptation induced by use of technologies - focused on how different services and technologies inside vehicles influence drivers to adopt different behaviors behind the steering wheel 
  • Driver`s situation awareness and Takeover capabilities in autonomous vehicles
  • Interface Design of mobile apps for drivers
