  • Transport Demand Forecasting (emphasis on behavioural models using attitudinal data to allow for perceptions, miss-perceptions and heuristic choice)
  • Appraisal Methods (emphasis on impact studies, detection and attribution of impact and the use of multi-criteria approaches)
  • Policy Appraisal (emphasis on assessment of behavioural response, allowance for perceived benefits and distributional issues, applications include car sharing, passenger and driver information systems, public transport marketing, and road user charging)

  • Direction of some 40 projects with a total budget over £2m and over 50 person years of staff input.
