The University of Leeds Driving Simulator (UoLDS) is one of most advanced worldwide in a research environment and allows research into driver behaviour to be performed in accurately controlled and repeatable laboratory conditions.

Thanks to the simulator, the ITS Safety Group, an independent, multidisciplinary team of researchers can undertake research that would be impossible to do on the road.

The UoLDS continues to develop using the skills of an in-house team of developers.
